Jonathan found his love of music starting in 5th grade and knew starting middle school that he wanted to play saxophone. No one else in his family had been musically inclined. He continued learning, practicing, and playing at every opportunity all through high school, winning several awards in his journey. Jonathan has performed with many local bands on a professional level for all occasions and eventually met Cory at an open jam one night several years ago. Jonathan had been looking for a band home and found it in Cory Luetjen and The Traveling Blues Band

Deon "Smiley" McNeill

Deon McNeill was raised in church, which is where he became interested in the drums. He would sit next to his father along with guest drummers and watch them play during services. While in college he focused on basketball, but when different circumstances came about, music started calling his name.  Returning to his interest in the drums, his passion for playing grew. He began playing with local acts, bands, and churches, eventually meeting Cory Luetjen and began gigging. Things really began to take off musically and the story goes on....

Patrick's love of music started as early as 2 years old. He loved playing drums. When he turned 4, his family discovered that he had a knack for singing. As he grew older, he worked more on vocal skills. At age 11, he began teaching himself keyboard and later picked up saxophone during high school band. Then, at age 16, he began his journey on guitar and bass. His passion for music and performing continued over the years and began   He is talented multi instrumentalist

ADJUNCT MEMBERS

Earl Austin has been performing live for 35+ years. He carried a Hammond B-3 and a Leslie everywhere for 20 of those. He has had the great privilege to do touring work with blues legend Larry McCray and the up and coming blues superstar Marquise Knox. Earl has made an appearance at the country's longest running "Carolina Blues Festival" seven times, and performed on the The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise for the last 15 years! He has been Invited on stage to perform with such Blues legends as Michael Burks, Ronnie Baker-Brooks, Tommy Castro, Curtis Salgado,Kenny Neal, Joe Bonamassa ,Victor Wainwright, & Wayne Sharp !! This is just to name a few…..
